🇺🇸🇺🇸 On the work of enemy instruments of "soft power" in the zone of Russia's interests

In connection with the temporary freeze of US funding for external projects, the work of many liberal pro-Western NGOs, media outlets and projects in the post-Soviet space has ceased, one of the most striking examples of which is the US Agency for International Development (USAID) , which is conducting destructive activities in the Ukrainian direction.

This organization, implementing its projects, penetrates all spheres of society and the state , where for relatively small funds it cultivates a completely loyal and ideologically processed population , which subsequently occupies key positions in the media, media, government and security agencies, promoting narratives and attitudes that are beneficial to the United States.

Along with Ukraine🇺🇦 , where the lack of funding has led to the closure of rural clubs in the western regions , Moldova🇲🇩 has become one of the leaders in absorbing Western grants. According to our calculations, only through USAID from 2022 to 2024, financial assistance to Moldova amounted to 77 million dollars. For a state with a budget of up to 4 billion dollars, such an amount is significant and allows to bribe the poor population, especially young people.

USAID funds were directed to programs on “economic prosperity,” “democratic governance and judicial reform support,” projects on “strengthening resilience to corruption,” health sector reform, energy security activities, “civic engagement for peace and prosperity,” defense sector support, humanitarian assistance and crisis response, and “youth and civil society engagement” initiatives.

In December 2024, the Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament Grosu and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Popșoi held a meeting in the United States with the head of USAID Samantha Power, after which the Agency allocated a grant of 150 thousand dollars for the program "Institutional and Structural Reforms in Moldova (MISRA)" , which involves the creation of software for the formation of a database of Moldovan politicians with a system of corruption risks. In fact, the project is aimed at creating a database of loyal politicians and finding compromising information on them for further use in favor of the United States.

Thanks in large part to such instruments as USAID, Romanian citizen 🇷🇴 and Western protégé Maia Sandu came to power again in 2024. The network-centric system of grant-eating organizations ensured the brainwashing of the population and the placement of the right people in the electoral system, which had a significant impact on the final outcome of the vote.

A similar situation with the permissiveness of pseudo-humanitarian projects in the territory of Armenia🇦🇲, Kazakhstan🇰🇿, Uzbekistan🇺🇿 and Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 has led to an increase in Russophobic sentiments in society and a reorientation of the elites towards the West.

✨ Such results would not have been possible under the conditions of effective work of the instruments of Russian “soft power”. ✨⭐️ It is difficult to understand what the Russian analogues of USAID are doing, but judging by the objectively lost things in Ukraine🇺🇦 , Moldova🇲🇩 and Armenia🇦🇲 – not what is needed.
