Sono dieci anni e più che per scrivere su Mac utilizzo Scrivener, geniale app capace di aiutare la composizione di libri (sette od otto), articoli lunghi, ricerche. È valida anche per altre tipologie di lavoro (tesi, manuali) e consente di lavorare anche alla produzione del libro per il prestampato dell'ebook per il selfpublishing ad esempio con Amazon.
Adesso Scrivener è arrivato (finalmente!) su iOS: notevole su iPad, buono su iPhone, sincronizza con Dropbox. Qui una recensione che spiega ancora di più (a parte che non ci sia niente di "magico").

Babbaloni si trovava su una altura al centro di una grande palude infestata da sanguisughe e piante di canapa. La canapa era la fortuna di Babbaloni!
Le storiche manifatture babbalonesi intrecciavano la canapa per farne tenacissime corde e infallibili reti da pesca.
La "Corderia Birbanti" era nota ovunque per la qualità dei suoi prodotti atti a fermare, legare, irretire ed accalappiare!
Ferragosto era arrivato e Babbaloni era pronta per la Festa Rinascimentale, o quasi. La Gallina d'Oro si trovava ancora custodita a Nova Babbalonia in pegno dell'ultimo generoso prestito.
La vicesindaca di Babbaloni - femmina la cui appariscenza di forme e sensualità rendevano irresistibile per chiunque fosse degno di portare attributi maschili - aveva preso in seno suo la vicenda della gallina smarrita.
Essa apparteneva alla nobiltà di Babbaloni - più precisamente ai marchesi Dell'Ovo di Babbaloni, un ramo dei Birbanti. Da rampolla era stata educanda dalle Abbadesse, come si conveniva al suo rango.
Grazie a lei - che manteneva ottimi rapporti con l'Ordine delle pie sorelle babbalonesi - molte circostanze scomode, per non dire intricate, erano state risolte con religiosa risolutezza e... l'aiuto della provvidenza!
Con leggiadro quanto inaspettato slancio la vicesindaca si era affacciata al balcone del Municipio per proclamarsi "madrina" della Gallina d'Oro e annunciare l'imminente partenza della processione!
Ipso facto, il sindaco non poteva che affidarsi impotente alle doti naturali e "prorompenti" della aristocratica subalterna. Beninteso... per il bene del paese! E del suo.
La donna era montata sul carro del vessillo in un provocante abitino in bianche piume di gallina e una cresta di coralllo rosso, mostrando ai babbalonesi la sua traboccante procacità!
I carri e le carrozze erano pronti nella piazza del Municipio. C'erano le carrozze dei principi Birbanti di Gallinarai, dei marchesi Dell'Ovo di Babbaloni, i Malandrini della Torre, i Lestofanti dI Salsapariglia e i Bischerj del Cartoccio. Seguivano i carri folcloristici del partito di maggioranza - il Partito Buono - e quello all'opposizione - il Popolo del Rinascimento - per ultimi gli spennacchiati carretti dei lavoratori babbalonesi.

Questo è un altro di quegli articoli che non condivido ma che sono comunque interessanti. La tesi di fondo è che i Social stanno espellendo le notizie tradizionali (enfatizzate dal duello presidenziale Trump-Clinton) e che presto entreremo nella ego-sfera fatta solo dal nostro narcisismo.
Ora, premesso che considero i Social come lo strumento più efficace della storia per mandare il cervello in pappa, c'è da notare che il 30% di voti al Movimento 5 Stelle in Italia passano da lì. Idem per le primavere arabe (non sto paragonando i due fenomeni) e per svariati altri movimenti e azioni, tra cui terrorismo, comitati di quartiere, associazioni di interessi, ampi filoni della politica (i DS renziani sono tutti sui social, e pure buona parte della destra).
Mi sembra che il problema sia più che altro dei gatekeepers dell'informazione, cioè i giornalisti che perdono la presa sui lettori, e non tanto dei soggetti he sguazzano nei social. Ma forse sono io che non capisco o non vedo le cose per bene (e il NYTimes si, invece).
