C'è una app per Mac (prima o poi la fanno anche per iPhone e iPad) che permette di cancellare oggetto e persone non gradite dalle foto. Niente che non riesca a fare Photoshop, ma questa app è ottimizzata, lo fa (dicono) bene, è più facile da usare e costa sicuramente molto meno.

L'idea di manipolare le foto nel modo più antico e classico, cioè rimuovere le persone non gradite (vi ricordate i dirigenti sovietici che scomparivano dalla vita pubblica e dalle foto con Stalin?), è intrigante.

Una bella foto sulla spiaggia mediamente affollata che poi si può trasformare in un luogo solitario ed esclusivo come se fossimo su un atollo della Polinesia. Oppure, più banalmente, togliere gli oggetti che non possiamo evitare di fotografare (un lampione bel mezzo di un bel panorama).

La Cina probabilmente sta conquistando il mondo. Da un punto di vista commerciale, se non altro: la progressione è abbastanza inequivocabile e non mostra segni di deviazione. Questo dovete proprio leggerlo. Ex milionario impoverito e poi di nuovo ricco che si reinventa come guru dell'auto-aiuto. Soprattutto, un tale mescolone di passaggi e prospettive da farmi pensare a lungo: cosa vuol dire un articolo così? Quale frammento di realtà cerca di mordere? (i giornali sono cani da riporto, cercano di sputarti sempre qualcosa sui piedi, sta a te capire cosa ti hanno portato e cosa invece manca alla loro - e quindi alla tua - dieta).

In questo caso, altro che buddismo laico, perché alla fine i guru ricascano sempre in qualche specie di trottola New Age. No no, questo è un guru postmoderno, del quale non si capisce dove finisca il bene per cominciare il male e viceversa. Molto interessante.

Magari bisognerebbe parlare (e guardare) solo le fotografie e non le macchine fotografiche. Certamente., Però questo viaggio di un anno nell'uso della Leica SL è molto interessante. La macchina fotografica tedesca impostata come una reflex digitale (comunque è mirrorless) è il punto di svolta per l'azienda che ha letteralmente inventato il formato 35mm. Rivoluzione rispetto alla serie M.

È un apparecchio molto costoso, grosso, particolarmente robusto. La macchina fotografica definitiva? Può darsi, dipende dagli usi. Le immagini scattate dall'autore del pezzo sono comunque notevoli e si devono al fatto che i due obiettivi zoom per questo apparecchio (che utilizza anche le altre lenti Leica) sono di altissima qualità, praticamente paragonabile a lenti fisse.

La storia è piuttosto semplice: un ricercatore nel settore della fisica quantistica racconta del suo business laterale di centro risposta e orientamento per gli appassionati di fisica che pensano di avere trovato straordinarie spiegazioni per l'universo mondo e in realtà non hanno in mano niente. Un catalogo di varia umanità interessante e piuttosto singolare.

La cosa che mi chiedo è se sia possibile generalizzare questa idea di appassionati della fisica senza competenze che credono di aver capito tutto (e prendono le cose drammaticamente in modo letterale) e portarla anche in altri campi del sapere. Chessò, la scienza politica, il diritto costituzionale, la filosofia, la religione...
