Guys, good afternoon👋😌

We are meeting today at 19:00 Msc!🤩

According to your desires, we updated some limitations, because we are striving for making meetings productive for you very much 😋

We have the general topic for the discussion: you can find it in the marvellous picture prepared by MIPT English club, with principal @jdanka ☺️

Moreover, today meeting will be held in zoom, because we found dividing people by pairs for approximately 10 min of discussion much more effective.

Feel free to join us to have fun after difficult week 🤪
Here is a set of topics to start with 💪

We're going to cover them while getting acquainted with new participants✔️

Guys, good afternoon 😜🐥

Catch the pack of new words to learn and practice with us🦜

1️⃣ outrageous — used to describe something or someone that is shocking because they are unusual or strange (unacceptable, offensive, violent, or unusual)
ex: These prices are just outrageous (= much too high)

2️⃣ an ace up your sleeve — secret knowledge or a secret skill that will give you an advantage (туз в рукавах)

3️⃣ close, but no cigar — used to say that someone almost succeeded, but is not completely successful or correct
ex: It was close but no cigar for Johnny as he came second once again

Good afternoon, guys👋😽

Here is a photo from our latest appointment on Saturday. We tried a new way of discussion by dividing the general group into couples.👥 As result, all of us found it much more effective, because bigger amount of participants can better their speaking simultaneously.

We really glad to see fellows from other universities than MIPT ♥️— you're the best! Call your friends with you to make our meetings more diverse🏖

Moreover, that meeting integrated the best practices of two English clubs, so our meetings become more interesting for you guys🔥🍓

It's worth noting that the more diverse practices you use to enrich your English expertise (other disciplines as well), the more confident you become in possessing this knowledge, so feel free to try new things and be opened to any relevant experiences 😉🦋

Good afternoon, dear friends ♥️

Today we are meeting at 20:00 msc😽 in zoom (it suggests more convenient interface for discussions in pairs)

One hilarious moment happened on one of the previous meetings in zoom: some maliciously intended guys joined us and started behaving in an abusive way🤷‍♂️👺, so we came to conclusion to send invitations to you exсlusively🔞

You can find a link to leave your vk acc for us to share a link with you.

Don't hesitate to join us, you will find it useful as night follows day😽😉
Well, the set of cool words for us to learn 😽

1️⃣ to eject an item(выбросить предмет) to force someone to leave a particular place, or to send out something quickly and often with force
2️⃣ incur(навлечь на себя) to experience something, usually something unpleasant, as a result of actions you have taken
3️⃣ so as to (в целях, с тем чтобы) ex: She flew with low-cost airline so as to save money.
Today topic is entrepreneurship, if u require some time for preparation, so you can chew over some ideas in advance 😉☺️
