I'm not sure if I'm for this or against this. On the one hand, the amount of effort spent on this project, and the fact that the decision was effectively based on the court of one country leave a sour taste. On the other hand, blockchain projects have become incredibly abusable, and the amount of scams on telegram would have gone through the roof. Not to mention that governments have already been hostile to telegram before, and this proves that they'd be much worse off if the project landed at all.
