The recent bullshit with google terminating accounts for spamming emotes proves just how important it is that you stop relying on google for the things you are doing.
If you're out of the loop, a while back Markiplier did a livestream where you voted by using emotes in chat. As a result, people got their entire google accounts banned. This means having zero access to gmail, google drive, and not being able to restore your accounts or access 2FA on services that use it. Here's a video he made on it.
Now imagine that this didn't happen as a result of a huge celebrity doing something. Imagine it happened to you, at random. You're not going to be able to appeal this, your account is gone for good. How much would that affect you?
