Romanian Air Force Helicopter Crashes in Search for Lost Fighter Plane

An IAR 330 helicopter set off in search of a Mig-21 Lancer and disappeared from radars over the Black Sea Wednesday, according to local media.

Footage shows what appears to be a helicopter wreckage, after the pilot reported bad weather and apparently crashed.

There were five soldiers on board - believed to be dead.

Moscow does not justify any actions that result in civilian deaths - Lavrov

The Russian Foreign Minister also expressed his condolences to the families and friends of those killed in Ukraine.

What else Lavrov said:

- The U.S. has subjugated Europe like Napoleon or Hitler did in their time;

- The Kiev regime has real killers on its side;

- It's bad enough that people are dying now, but thousands of people have died in eight years of conflict in Donbass;

- "We don't go over 10,000 kilometers to impose our own rules. Here it is a forced decision. We were simply not heard and lied to for the last 30 years;

- "We are ready for negotiations. And when Zelensky asked for them, Putin immediately agreed. And Zelensky changed his mind, the Americans probably told him to wait. We are ready to talk, but we will continue our operation because we cannot afford to keep the threatening infrastructure."

Putin tells Macron Russian military operation 'will be completed'

In their phone call, President Putin told French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that the tasks of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine would be fulfilled in any case, and urged him to join efforts to ensure the safe evacuation of foreign citizens from Ukraine.
