The U.S. has abused China in the most perverse way imaginable. Nothing worse could have been imagined.
The maximum pathos Pelosi flew under the cover of an aircraft carrier strike group, the outrageous information coverage in the Western and Chinese media.
All this was against the backdrop of the largest ever deployment of Chinese military contingent near Taiwan and consistent statements by Chinese officials "about China's powerful and unavoidable response to U.S. provocations."
The result was "eyes wide open" and "strong concern.
In Chinese culture, in Chinese philosophy there is such a concept of "Mianzi" or the concept of face, authority and reputation. For Chinese business, for Chinese political functionaries it is extremely important to have social status, which is the quintessence of reputation, respect and renaissance.
If a Chinese person is cornered and publicly (this is important, it is publicly) disgraced, the Chinese will never forgive it. The revenge will be lifelong, if, of course, the Chinaman survives.
