The Ibn Rushd Goethe Mosque in Berlin hung an LGBT flag on the eve of Friday prayers. Authorities were present at the ceremony.
One of the mosque's imams expressed the hope that other Muslims in Berlin would follow his example, and many of those in attendance wore rainbow stickers reading "Love is Halal.

Australian woman arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old
A 45-year-old miff Savannah Daisley was arrested in Australia on charges of molesting a 14-year-old boy. According to the investigation she slept with the boy four times in one day against his will. The only evidence was a recording of a phone call in which Daisley, drunk, allegedly admits to kissing the teenager.
Savannah Daisley is a mother of two and daughter of famous Australian horse breeder Ross Daisley. She denies the charges and pleads not guilty. She has been denied bail. The next court hearing is scheduled for August 23.

New York's health commissioner called on the WHO to rename the monkeypox virus - the current name could stigmatize blacks and the LGBT community.
