adb reboot fastboot
4. then when the phone is in fastboot type:
fastboot flash boot /path/boot-V176.img
/path corresponds to the folder where the boot.img is located
boot-V176.img is my file corresponding to my device, you have to find the boot.img that corresponds to the build number of your phone.
5. then reboot and install kernelsu.apk and that's it!

ksu ver: v1.0.5-legacy
susfs ver: v1.5.5
Updated: 14/09/2025
branch: android12-5.4
KernelSU updated to v1.0.5๐นDownload๏ปฟ
SUSFS integrated
AnyKernel3 now it works without any errors
๐นNotes:
Minor bugs still persist, so you'll need the caffeine.zip module.
If you don't have an Infinix Smart 8 or your boot.img version isn't listed, install AnyKernel3 via custom recovery (twrp, ofox, etc.) or via Kernel Flasher (root required)
You can use the official KernelSU Manager or you can use the legacy
๐นCredits:
Thanks to @RissuDesu for the KernelSU fork.

Reboot to recovery working
Working on the Infinix Smart 8, I don't guarantee it will work on other devices.
Manual hook causes SUS_SU to stop working, so I'll revert it to a tracepoint hook.

๐นNotes:
When I open a corrupted zip file, the phone restarts automatically; this will be fixed soon.
SukiSU already has susfs integrated, the module is not necessary.
I recommend using a kernel manager (like franco or ex kernel manager)
