Chehel Sotoun (40 pillars) Mosque, Sorkheh:
Chehel Sotoun Mosque in Sorkheh belongs to the 2nd century (AH) & was built by the order of Imam Ali (PBUH) in the Islamic territory. One of the distinctive features of this building is the delicate octagonal brick columns & Iranian sharp lancet arches which are very similar to the works of the Zand era, & only 32 of 40 pillars of this building are standing. The area of this building is 351 m2, which has an entrance porch & a beautiful vestibule, which gives this building a special & amazing facade, & one can enter the main hall through this vestibule. Considering the desert area, the Shabestan (a hall or part of mosque designed for pray or even sleeping) was built in the basement due to strong fortifications & was resistant to cold & heat.

مسجد چهلستون سرخه:
مسجد چهلستون سرخه متعلق به قرن دوم هجری است که به دستور امام علی (ع) در بلاد اسلامی ساخته شده است
از خصوصیات بارز این بنا ستونهای ظریف هشت ضلعی آجری و طاق های جناقی تند میباشد که شباهت زیادی به کارهای دوره زندیه دارد و از ۴۰ ستون این بنا هم اینک ۳۲ ستون آن بیشتر باقی نمانده است
مساحت این بنا ۳۵۱ متر است که دارای یک ایوان ورودی و یک هشتی زیبا میباشد که به این بنا جلوه خاصی بخشیده و از طریق این هشتی می توان وارد شبستان اصلی شد، که با توجه به کویری بودن این منطقه ساخت شبستان در زیرزمین به دلیل استحکامات بالا در برابر سرما و گرما مقاوم بوده است
