Iran is known as a country having dry climate in most of its central regions. Even in the rainy regions of Iran, finding drinking water has been one of the issues of people since the past till today. In the meantime, ancient Iranian engineers designed highly engineered & especial buildings to store clean & fresh water for daily use & of course for months of the year when rainfall was low. The cisterns of Iran became a place to store water during the rainfalls & of course the melted the ice of winter so people of the area could have drinking water during the hot weather & lack of rain.
