Sardar-e Bozorg cistern is the largest single-domed cistern in Iran which is located in Qazvin. The cistern has a tall frontispiece with lancet arch. To access the water, one has to go down twelve and a half meters. Its water tank is square-shaped with a dimension of approximately seventeen meters.

In this route, there are dozens of short & long tunnels. Kandovan tunnel is the eleventh and perhaps the most well-known tunnel that connects Karaj to Chalus & is located 90 kilometers from south of Chalus.
