Abis ibn Abi Shabeeb Shakeri
Abis was one of the prominent Shias and one of those who delivered a letter from the Kufis to the Imam in Mecca after they pledged allegiance to Muslim. His bravery was such that the enemy couldn’t fight him man-to-man. They stoned him and he took off his armor and helmet and fought until he was martyred in the siege of the enemy.

عابس ابن ابی‌شبیب شاکری
از رجال برجسته شیعه و از کسانی بود که پس از بیعت کوفیان با مسلم به‌عنوان پیک، نامه‌ای به امام در مکه رساند. رشادت‌های وی چنان بود که دشمن از نبرد تن به تن با وی ناتوان بود. او را سنگ‌باران کردند و او هم زره از تن بیرون آورد و کلاه خود از سر برداشت و آنقدر جنگید تا در محاصره دشمن به شهادت رسید.

Abdullah ibn Umayr Kalbi
He is one of the first martyrs who went to the battlefield. He left Kufa with his wife at night and joined the Imam in Karbala on the 8th of Muharram. After Abdullah’s martyrdom, his wife went to his body and she was cleaning dust from his face when Shimr’s servant struck her head with a mace and she was martyred next to her husband. عبدالله ابن عمیر کلبی
از اولین شهدایی‌ست که به میدان رفت. شبانه با همسرش از کوفه بیرون رفتند و شب هشتم محرم به یاران امام در کربلا پیوستند. پس از شهادت عبدالله همسرش خود را به بالین او رساند و خاک از چهره او می‌زدود که غلام شمر گرزی بر سرش فرود آورد و او کنار همسرش به شهادت رسید.

Ruqayyah bint Hussain (PBUT)
The four-year-old daughter of Imam Hussain (PBUH), who was present in Karbala. Her mother’s name in the historical books is Shahrbanu, the daughter of Yazdgird. She companied with the caravan of Ahl al-Bayt from Kufa to Shaam and passed on there. Her magnificent shrine is in Damascus now.

دختر چهار ساله امام حسین علیه السلام که در کربلا حضور داشت. نام مادرش در کتب تاریخی شهربانو، دختر یزدگرد ذکر شده است. همراه کاروان اهل بیت از کوفه با شام رفته و همانجا از دنیا رفت. هم اکنون در دمشق حرم باشكوهى دارد.
