Miniature Martian Mountains of Chabahar are known as the Martian mountains of Iran. This white & gray mountain range is about 4 to 5 million years old. It’s interesting to know that as the sunlight changes during the day, the color of the mountains change as well. Another interesting point about these mountains is that their height is different. For example, some are 5 meters high while others are up to 100 meters high.
One of the wonders of these mountains is their main construction material: a combination of the remains of the bodies of sea creatures such as fish & crustaceans along with sand & clay. Some geologists have discovered fossils of marine animals that prove these mountains were once underwater. The jaggedness of the mountains is due to their erosion by wind & rain.
It should be noted that there’s no vegetation on the grooves of this mountain range.

کوه‌های مینیاتوری چابهار به کوه‌های مریخی ایران معروف‌اند. این رشته‌کوه که به رنگ سفید و طوسی است حدود ۴ تا ۵ میلیون سال قدمت دارد. شاید برایتان جالب باشد که وقتی نور خورشید در روز جابه‌جا می‌شود، رنگ کوه‌ها هم تغییر می‌کند. نکته جالب دیگر این کوه‌ها این است که ارتفاعشان متفاوت است. مثلاً برخی ۵ متر و برخی دیگر تا ۱۰۰ متر ارتفاع دارند
یکی از شگفتی‌های این کوه‌ها مواد اصلی تشکیل آنهاست که ترکیبی از بقایای بدن جانداران دریایی همچون ماهی‌ها و سخت‌پوستان به همراه ماسه و خاک رس است. برخی زمین‌شناسان فسیل‌هایی از حیوانات دریایی کشف کرده‌اند که نشان می‌دهد زمانی این کوه‌ها زیر آب بوده‌اند. به دلیل فرسایش کوه‌ها به‌وسیله باد و باران، شاهد دندانه دندانه بودن کوه‌ها هستیم
لازم به ذکر است که شیارهای این کوه فارغ از هرگونه پوشش گیاهی است
