Sadr al-Din Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Qavam Shirazi, known as Mulla Sadra & Sadr al-Muta'allihin, was an Iranian philosopher & sage of the eleventh century AH & the founder of Transcendent Philosophy.
Mulla Sadra believed that Shia Islam has two aspects: the outward aspect, which is the religious laws & regulations, & the inward aspect, which is the essence & the truth of Shia Islam, & he called it Shia mysticism. He considered both observation of religious duties & mystical practices necessary for human salvation & acquiring the truth of Shia Islam.

Gomishan (Gomijan) mud volcano is located on the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea & is cone shaped. This mud volcano is about 8 meters high & 500 meters in diameter & a small purple or pink lake can be seen on top of it; a small lake filled with salt water as well as clay mud & high pressure & density gas. One can smell crude oil in this place. Naftlijeh mud volcano has healing properties & its muds are a cure for diseases such as joint & spine pains & joint stiffness, neurological diseases, early stages of vascular stenosis & muscle spasms. The reason for the unique color of this lake is the valuable mineral iodine in its surroundings.

نفتلیجه خواص درمانی دارد و گِل‌های آن برای درمان بیماری‌هایی مانند دردهای مفاصل و ستون فقرات و سفتی مفاصل، بیماری‌های عصبی، مراحل اولیه تنگی عروق و انقباضات عضلانی مفید هستند. دلیل رنگ منحصربه‌فرد این دریاچه ماده‌ معدنی و ارزشمند ید در محیط اطراف آن است
