Golrizan is an ancient tradition & Pahlevani ritual in Iran; a traditional ceremony where people gather to collect money & other necessities for those in need, & individuals donate what they can to help the needy.
It’s been suggested based on the studies on the roots of Golrizan that this tradition has been expanded from Zourkhaneh to houses & other assemblies.
Golrizan is held on special occasions, primarily religious ones.
