Freedom of speech is under attack in Australia.

Over recent years, state and federal governments have introduced an unprecedented wave of laws restricting speech, political expression and association.

At the same time, Australians are demanding change.

Immigration has reached historic levels. Housing and the cost of living have spiralled out of control. Trust in our institutions is declining. On issue after issue, ordinary Australians increasingly feel that neither Labor nor the Liberals represent them.

A political and social course correction is coming.

But meaningful political change is impossible without the freedom to speak, organise, protest and challenge those in power.

Free speech does not exist to protect popular opinions. It exists to protect controversial and unpopular opinions too. You do not have to agree with someone’s views to understand that protecting their freedom ultimately protects yours.

Today it might be someone you despise. Tomorrow it could be you.

On Sunday, August 30, Australians across the country will once again take to the streets for March for Australia.

This time, we march for our fundamental freedoms.

We may disagree on policies, parties and politics, but we can stand together on one basic principle:

Australians should be free to speak.

For Our Freedoms.
For Our Future.
For Australia. 🇦🇺

So we ask that you join us in the fight for freedom of speech and March For Australia. See our site for more details.

The enemies of free speech are the enemies of Australia.

The radical left plan to counter protest our free speech rally on August 30..
Whether its Pauline Hanson or Thomas Sewell, an online post or a t-shirt, March for Australia will defend of the free speech of all Australian patriots. "Hate speech" is a genocidal concept made up by communists as a pretext to silence resistance against Australian replacement and the increasingly unpopular Albanese regime. We will not be intimidated out of standing up for free speech.

The ANZACs fought for a free Australia and a free Australia we will have.

Free speech isn't a fringe issue. It isn't left or right. It's something the overwhelming majority of Australians believe is fundamental to our country. On August 30, we're marching to defend it.

Yet while Australians overwhelmingly value this freedom, governments across the country continue to expand laws regulating what we can say, write and post online.

Instead of respecting the fundamental 'gentleman's agreement' of politics in a democracy, Labor and their allies in the uniparty are seeking to ban opposition and silence patriotic dissent.

Free speech matters precisely because Australians disagree. It protects our ability to criticise governments, challenge prevailing ideas, campaign for political change and have arguments that those in power might rather we didn't have.

Once that freedom is surrendered, getting it back is much harder.

On August 30, Australians across the country will march to defend it and demand constitutional protection for free speech, an end to the expansion of censorship laws, and the restoration of Australians' right to speak and organise freely.

87% of us already agree that free speech matters. It's time we stood up for it.

March For Australia, August 30, nationwide.

Australia should be looking at the UK as a warning, not a model.

We're already seeing governments introduce broader restrictions on speech, greater regulation of what Australians can say online, and new powers targeting political expression and association.

These things don't happen overnight. Freedom is chipped away piece by piece, law by law, until behaviour that was once considered part of ordinary political debate can attract the attention of police.

We don't want Australia going down the same path.

On August 30, Australians across the country will march for free speech and demand stronger protections for one of our most fundamental freedoms.

In its High Court defence of Australia's new prohibited hate group laws, the Commonwealth has relied on historical material involving Soviet representative Boris Ivanov in support of its argument about racial discrimination and political speech.

Ivanov was no ordinary international diplomat. He was a Soviet intelligence officer who served in the NKVD, Stalin's secret police and predecessor to the KGB, and later became a senior Soviet intelligence operative.

Declassified FBI material identifies Colonel Boris Ivanov in connection with Soviet intelligence activity, while intelligence histories record his service as an NKVD officer and later Soviet intelligence resident in New York.

There is an extraordinary irony here.

The Australian Government is defending unprecedented powers over political organisations and political expression while invoking historical arguments associated with an operative of one of the most notorious authoritarian security apparatuses of the twentieth century.

Whatever your politics, Australians should be deeply uncomfortable with governments acquiring greater powers to determine which political organisations and ideas are permitted.

Free societies don't need political police. They need free political debate.

On August 30, Australians nationwide will march to defend freedom of speech and demand stronger protections for political expression.

Mass immigration will never be ended if Australians lose the freedom to oppose it.

For years, Australians who questioned immigration were smeared as extremists while Labor and Liberal governments continued pushing the country in the same direction. Now that consensus is finally beginning to crack. Immigration is becoming one of the defining political issues in the country, One Nation is surging, and millions of Australians who were previously ignored are demanding a course correction.

And at exactly the moment the right is growing stronger, Australia is being buried under an unprecedented wave of hate speech laws, censorship powers and restrictions on political organisation.

If Australians cannot openly discuss immigration, organise against it, protest it and support political movements committed to ending it, there will be no democratic course correction. Free speech is the prerequisite for every other political victory we hope to achieve.

The left has pushed Australia in one direction for decades. Now the country is pushing back. We will not allow censorship laws to short-circuit that correction.

On August 30, we march for the freedom that makes every other fight possible.

The traitorous Australian government knows patriots are rising and wants to shut the door of democracy on us by destroying what’s left of free speech.

We’re saying no.

Join the March for Australia on 30 August. Nationwide. Bring the flag.

Australia is now banning political organisations under new “hate” and “extremism” laws.

The argument is that excluding extremists makes society safer, but democracy itself can moderate political movements.

Political scientists call it the inclusion moderation thesis. Once movements have to win votes, persuade ordinary people, defend themselves publicly and participate in institutions, they face pressure to replace extremism with politics.

Sinn Féin and the IRA are an obvious modern example of that process.

If the stated objective is reducing extremism, then we should be encouraging more democracy not less.

So stand up for free speech and democracy on August 30 and March with us for Australia.

One Nation has built its support by promising to end mass immigration, but seemingly overnight they’ve changed their policy to now be “not too different” to Labor’s.

If a policy written clearly on One Nation’s website can suddenly become negotiable once political and industry pressure arrives, what about the other promises on that website?

Their website commits to repealing all hate speech laws, abolishing all censorship bodies, and holding a free speech referendum to enshrine it in our Constitution. But when do you hear this commitment come out of Pauline’s mouth?

Even as Pauline Hanson herself is sued by another senator over racism, she simply wants to “fight 18C”. Why not abolish it? Why not stand with us on August 30?

March for Australia is not a One Nation campaign, and our support for any political party is conditional. Politicians do not get loyalty simply because they call themselves right wing. They get support when they deliver what Australians elected them to do.

Mass immigration has become politically impossible to ignore because ordinary Australians forced it onto the agenda during the first March for Australia last August. Free speech needs exactly the same pressure.

That is what August 30 is about.

We are going to put patriots into the streets whether One Nation joins us or not. In many ways, it’s going to be even more symbolic if they don’t. We are going to show every politician in the country that ending mass immigration matters, restoring free speech matters, and neither issue is negotiable.

One Nation will not improve because its supporters make excuses for it. It will improve when its supporters make it politically painful to betray them.

Our message is simple: Stop mass immigration. Give Australians back their freedom of speech.

Join us this weekend, August 30, and March for Australia.
