What may perhaps be the most Controversial Theory is that the Anglii are actually a Suebic Tribe.

Ptolemy says:

"Of the nations in the interior and the midlands, the greatest are: that of the Suebic Angili, who are further east than the Langobardi, extending northwards as far as the middle parts of the Albis [Elbe] river; and that of the Suebic Semnones, who extend beyond the Albis from the aforementioned part toward the east as far as the Suebus river; and that of the Burgundians, who occupy the succeeding territories as far as the Vistula."

The only other author to mention the Anglii is Tacitus, who does not state their location, simply that they are near the Langobardi.

Tacitus:

"The neighboring Reudigni, 211 and the Avions, 212 Angli, 213 Varini, Eudoses, Suardones, and Nuithones, 214 are defended by rivers or forests. Nothing remarkable occurs in any of these; except that they unite in the worship of Hertha, 215 or Mother Earth"

Ptolemy Extensively describes Northern Germany and Jutland, being the first author to mention the Saxones, and mentioning them multiple times throughout his text.

"The parts along the ocean are occupied, north of the Bructeri, by the Frisii as far as the Amisius river; and after these the Minor Chauci as far as the Visurgis river; then the Greater Chauci as far as the Albis river; next, upon the neck of the Cimbrian Chersonese, the Saxons; and in the peninsula itself, north of the Saxons, are the Sigulones from the west, then the Sabalingii, then the Cobandi; north of whom are the Chali, and further north than these, more to the west the Phundusii, and more to the east the Charudes, and most northerly of all, the Cimbri. After the Saxons, from the Chalusus river to the Suebus river, the Pharodini; then the Sidini as far as the Viadua river; and after them the Ruticleioi as far as the Vistula river."

Lesser tribes are situated in between:
Between the Lesser Chauci and the Suebi, the Greater Bructeri, and below them the Chamai;
between the Greater Chauci and the Suebi, the Angrivarii, then the Laccobardi, and below them the Dulgibni;
between the Saxons and the Suebi, the Teuriochaimai and the Viruni;
between the Pharodini and the Suebi, the Teutones and the Auarpoi;
between the Rutikleioi and the Burgundians, the Ailouaiones.

A somewhat restyled version of the 5100bc Map. It is over a year old by now, but is still very accurate!

The Andronovo Culture. Posted this map earlier on my main, however here is a clearer version. What is interesting to me is the distribution pattern along the Tian-Shan, definetly related to the fact that Andronovans were in search of Tin and Copper.

I wasn't able to find enough on Tazabagyab unfortunately, so it isn't included in the map.

Both twitter accounts have been temporarily privated due to a sudden unwarranted botnet on twitter going crazy. You might have noticed that the maptismcontact account somehow has 25k followers now, which is definetly not organic and does not correspond to actual engagement.

The Abashevo Culture, 2300-1800bc
Descended from the Balanovo Variant of the Corded Ware Culture, this Culture counts itself as one of the Ancestors of Andronovo and Sintashta. Though it mostly derived from Eastern Corded Ware, it also shares some similarities with Bell Beaker.

A Intermediary Ancestor of Indo-Iranics.
