1. many of these social networks are much smaller than the centralized corpo shit, so you will probably want to access the corpo shit anyway. you can do this in a few ways:
1.1. the best way is through anonymized clients. use RSS, it's not difficult and it's *more convenient* than having a billion different apps/websites to visit regularly for updates. as for anonymized clients, there's things like invidious for YT, nitter for twitter, etc. find ones that work for you and set up redirects using stuff like this or similar. Note that many of the corpo shit apps are actively removing public API support and the private apps are either becoming impossible or very difficult to implement.
1.2. use a separate sandboxed browser for corpo shit (flatpak chromium for example) and your main browser for everything else
2. corpo shit wants you to serve and control your mind and shove ads up your ass, they will do everything to make your life worse forever because they are evil lizard monsters
3. if corpo shit is not very shitty and it open source and cool and free and with no ads then they will become corpo shit as soon as they get popular enough. GPL license is the best current prevention for that (out of all the shitty options), as well as purely donations funding
