Snippets Stop Working: Have To Disable & Re-Enable All The Time
I'm running the most recent version of Alfred and I've noticed for the longest time now that my snippets will often stop working even though they are currently enabled in Alfred's preferences/settings. The way I get them to work again is to disable "Automatically expand snippets by keyword" and then immediately re-enabling it. Anyone know of a permanent solution to this issue?

Photos App (MacOS) - Move photos library from Intel iMac (Sequoia) to MBP M5 (Tahoe) on external drive
I have Photos App (running internally on a 4TB) on a 2020 iMac running Sequoia 15.7.8.I want to move my photos library over to a 2026 MBP M5 Pro running Tahoe but the photos library will be on an external drive not the MBP internal drive.What is the best way to do this? Doesn't the photos library on Sequoia do some sort of conversation when it is placed on Photos App running Tahoe?Any help is appreciated!

Hi everyone,I made my own markdown editor. It's called wander, native on Mac, also works on iPhone and iPad.App Store link. Website is here.Problem:Markdown editors make you choose: either a nice editing experience with your notes locked in a database (Apple Notes), or plain files on disk but raw markup and preview panes (Obsidian, iA Writer). I wanted Apple Notes editing feel on top of plain markdown files I fully control. So:- WYSIWYG editing: tables, images, checklists are real editable blocks, not preview- your notes stay plain markdown files in folders you control, no account, no cloud required- mostly compatible with Obsidian vaults (wikilinks, callouts, tags, frontmatter, theme support coming soon)- byte-faithful saves: if you keep notes in git, opening and saving a file with no edits produces zero diff. [OS] Performance Monitor (Free forever!): an open-source macOS menu bar system monitor without telemetry!
Performance MonitorProblem:I wanted to see what my Mac is actually doing without paying a subscription or handing over telemetry to find out. Most of the good menu bar monitors are paid, and a few of the free ones are abandoned or phone home. I also didn't want the monitor to become a meaningful part of what it was measuring, which is a real issue with some of them.It shows CPU, memory, network, disk, GPU, per-sensor temperatures and fan speeds, SSD wear, system power draw in watts, and battery health. Each metric has a detail window, there's a history view going back 30 days, threshold alerts, and it's translated into 7 languages.Comparison:Stats (free, open source) is the obvious one and it's genuinely good. I treat it as the benchmark. Things mine does that Stats doesn't: SSD wear level read from NVMe SMART with no root needed, a history window with 30 days of data on disk, updates that are Ed25519 signed and verified inside the app before installing, and an opt-in beta channel with a one click way back to stable. Stats is more mature and has more menu bar layout options than I do.iStat Menus is the paid one, roughly 12 euros. It does more than mine and it's more polished. Mine is free and open source and will stay that way.Where mine is weaker than both: Apple Silicon only (M1 or later, macOS 14+), and it isn't notarised, so the first launch needs right click then Open. An Apple Developer ID costs 99 euros a year and I can't justify that for a free app yet. Updates are signature checked either way. Don't take my word for the safety though, the entire repo is open source so feel free to check for yourself!Pricing: Free. MIT licensed.
