When I was in like 7th or 8th grade, girls had a home economics lesson where they cooked salad. Each of them made a portion and invited us boys to taste their cooking. I tried what was offered to me and noticed how it was really bitter because of too much onion sliced in chunks too big. When I mentioned it, the girl that treated me got kinda upset. For some reason I still remember it. And I feel kinda sorry cause she probably tried really hard, and it was fine otherwise.
