"By the early 20th century, many prominent eugenicists were concerned about the state of marriage. White women, cowed by abusive husbands, were unwilling to have sex, and marriage increasingly seemed to be an exercise in mutual misery.
This, in their view, could limit the ability of the best elements of the human gene pool to propagate. So, with the support of the Eugenics Publishing Company, they set out to educate white readers with tips for how to achieve a friendly and harmonious marriage.
These texts reveal some common assumptions made about early 20th-century marriage. Women were not expected to feel an easy or instinctive attraction to men, nor were men expected to concern themselves with women’s emotional or physical well-being. One point nearly all sexologists agreed upon: Women needed to understand that men were naturally inclined toward aggression and sexual selfishness, so they should cut their husbands a little slack."

The white supremacist origins of modern marriage advice
Concerned about the state of marriage – and thus the ability of whites to procreate – eugenicists were behind some of the earliest modern marriage manuals.

Discord also wants to work with AI companies and them having a bunch of data already means they will very likely sell it to said companies or use it on their own AI projects.
Discord's programs that manage user data are receiving funds from Palantir. Not a coincidence.

Hundreds of high school and college students walked out of their classrooms to join a nationwide wave of protests against ICE policies. What began as a peaceful march quickly escalated into a physical confrontation outside the Federal Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Around 1:30 p.m., a group of demonstrators breached the facility’s grounds, throwing objects at agents and engaging in hand-to-hand clashes. What provoked them remains unclear—but given the LAPD’s track record, the possibility of provocation by law enforcement cannot be ruled out.
Federal agents deployed tasers and batons. According to police, the attackers then “melted back into the crowd of protesters.”
What unfolded is the latest phase of a mass movement sweeping America following the killings of two U.S. citizens by ICE agents in Minneapolis. Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, was shot dead on January 7; on January 24, Alex Pretty, a nurse, was killed. Both were American citizens posing no threat.
Since then, a wave of strikes under the slogan “National Shutdown” has gripped the country. On January 30, actions took place in over 300 cities: students ditched class, businesses shuttered, and streets filled with people holding “Fuera ICE” signs.
In Los Angeles, protesters waved Mexican flags and placards reading “Honk if you hate Nazis.” The Trump administration, through its representatives, insists it has “no intention of backing down from the president’s law and immigration enforcement mission.”
