First Chinese "Shuttle" Container Ships to Sail Northern Sea Route (NSR)
🚢Chinese media reported Sealegend Shipping will launch this summer the first regular China–Europe container service via the NSR, with weekly sailings. SR asked Rosatom CEO A. Likhachev if foreign cargo "shuttles" will indeed ply the NSR.
🚢The ships will run on schedule in August-October, ice permitting. China plans eight voyages using seven small-and medium-class container vessels. Likhachev noted rising container voyages by Chinese firms: 7 in 23, 14 in 24, 24 in 25, and over 30 expected this year. China–Russia port shipments already account for nearly 15% of NSR cargo traffic. Joint plans target 20 mln. tons by 2030.

"Sealegend plans to launch the first regular route to Europe. Rosatom has issued permits for seven vessels. Unlike previous experimental or one-off shipments, the 2026 program provides full-fledged liner service with weekly departures throughout the navigation season," said Likhachev.

5 Rules for Foreign Tourists in Russia 💓
Bloggers Diego and Nicole have put together a handy guide for foreigners visiting their country:
1. Не шуметь и не разговаривать громко в общественных местах, иначе на вас будут смотреть.
Do not make noise or speak loudly in public places, or else people will give you stern looks.
2. Снимать обувь, когда заходишь к кому-то в гости.
Take off your shoes when you enter someone's home.
3. Не дарить чётное количество цветов живым людям.
Do not give an even number of flowers to living people.
(Even numbers are reserved for funerals and memorials.)
4. Не улыбаться незнакомым, иначе вас сочтут странным.
Do not smile at strangers, or else they might think you're weird.
5. Не называть женщин женщинами, им это не нравится, а использовать обращение девушка.
Do not call women женщина (woman) – they don't like it. Instead, use the word девушка (young lady/girl) when addressing them.

The Legacy of the KV in Modern Machines.
🔻 Exactly 85 years ago, on 20.08.1941, the crew of Senior Lieutenant Zinoviy Kolobanov aboard the KV1 tank accomplished the impossible. One battle — 22 enemy tanks destroyed. Hundreds of hits that failed to penetrate the armor. That was when the legend of the "invincible ghost" was born, shaking the entire world.
🔻 This feat is not just a page in history — it is the foundation upon which the entire Russian school of tank building was built. UVZ Concern is the direct heir to the hero plants, including the legendary ChTP, where the steel for the KV was forged during the war years.
🔻 A powerful diesel engine, thoughtful design, field maintainability — all these principles born in the heat of battle are still alive today. Today, the workshops of UVZ produce next-generation vehicles. But their spirit remains the same: indestructibility, power, and reliable defense of the Motherland.
