🚅 Russia is building its first 400 km/h high-speed train!

🔻Eleven car bodies have already been produced at the Ural Locomotives plant. The train will run on a dedicated 1520 mm gauge track — a separate system from regular railways.

• Жополиз (жополизы) (masc.noun)
[zho-pa-liz (zho-pa-li-zy)]

Literal meaning: ЖОПа (ass) + linking O + ЛИЗать (to lick) = ass-licker.

Actual meaning: A sycophant, a brown‑noser - someone who flatters and grovels to those in power for personal gain.

Synonyms (not that obscene!):

• Подлиза (подлизы) (Femin.noun, common gender)
[pad-li-za (pad-li-zy)]
A bootlicker, toady (someone who sweet-talks to get what they want)

• Льстец (льстецы) (masc.noun)
