Влипнуть (perf.)
SLT: To stick, to get stuck

Meaning:
To get into trouble or an unpleasant situation

Origin:
The word originates from the original meaning of the verb 'влипать'(imperf.) which describes the action of something becoming firmly attached to another object, often unexpectedly. This imagery perfectly captures the essence of 'влипнуть' - getting into a situation you didn't plan for and finding it difficult to escape.

Synonyn:
Вляпаться (в ..+ accus.) (perf.)
  [vlya-pa-tsa (v...)]
SLT: to step, to plunge (into something dirty)

Example (see the video):
Вот я влип (влипла)! (masc./femin.)
[vot ya vlip (vlip-la)]
🇬🇧 I've got into trouble!

PS Mind that 'Залипать' and 'Влипнуть' do NOT have the same meaning!

Пароль [pa-rol'] a password
Король [ka-rol'] a king

A Soviet sniper and Siberian shaman, Semyon Danilovich Nomokonov was a legendary sniper, credited with killing 368 enemy soldiers during World War II.

🔻He marked each kill on his smoking pipe.

🔻When he was asked how many people he had killed, he replied, "None."  When he was asked about his numerous awards, he said, "I killed fascists."

🔻He once received a letter from a German woman in Hamburg who asked if her son, Gustav Ehrlich, was among the men marked on his pipe. She asked if he had prayed for his victims.

🔻Nomokonov replied, “It is quite possible, dear lady, that on the pipe I smoked on the front, there was a mark about your son - I did not remember all the robbers and murderers who came with the war to my land. If you, German women, saw with your own eyes what your sons did in Leningrad, you would curse them.”

🇷🇺 - Кот, не шуми по-братски, очень хочу выспаться этой ночью.
Мой кот в 5 утра:
- Баха любишь?

🇬🇧 - Cat, don’t make any noise, (I ask you as a brother), I really want to get some sleep tonight.
My cat at 5 am:
- Do you love Bach?

🗝
'Бах' is also onomatopoeia for a loud, unexpected sound ('bang!')

По-братски
  [pa brat-ski]
  SLT: Brotherly

🔻This slang adverb means 'please'/'help me as a brother'.

⚠️BUT you'll sound like an uneducated person if you use it in addressing to anyone except for your friends .

And now on the rooftop of the Vissotsky skyscraper
What a view!
We just paid a visit to his museum. It was in Paris 1992, that I first listened to his unique voice. I didn't understand a word but I instantly loved his songs

Here is a photo of his Mercedes, about which he joked that in Moscow only two had such a car: Brezhnev and he.
The revolutionary songwriter appreciated luxury
Watching the photos it was a bit travelling back to the 1970s in general. Fashion and lifestyle differed not that much for some

PS and Mercedes definitely lost a huge market

Dear channel subscribers,

Just a thought that came to my mind today.
I want to thank you for your supporting Russia and its people in such a difficult (not only for us, but also for you) time.
Despite all the negativity that reigns in the world's media in reference to Russia, you continue to admire Russian culture, music, painting, cinema, traditions and keep on learning Russian.
Thank you!
Hugged everyone!

Love❤️,

Natalie

👋Доброе утро, товарищи!

Романтический 🆚️ Романтичный

Романтический (masc.adj)
  [ra-man-ti-chis-kiy]

Романтичный (masc.adj)
  [ra-man-tich-nyj]

🔻Both adjectives can be translated as 'romantic'.

🔻Philologists note that these words are synonymous and interchangeable.

BUT:
🔻'Романтический' relates to romanticism as a movement in literature and art and as an artistic method:
Романтическая поэма
  [ra-man-ti-ches-ka-ya pa-e-ma]
Romantic poem

🔻'Романтичный' contains elements of romanticism, mystery, dreaminess:
Романтичныe отношения
  [ra-man-tich-ny-ye at-na-she-ni-ya]
  Romantic relationships

📎 So, if you want to describe something as loving or passionate, use 'романтичный'! If you want to talk about the Romantic era, use 'романтический'.
