- А что потом?
- A потом - суп с котом!

[a shto pa-tom? A pa-tom - sup s ka-tom]
- And (what there will be) after that?
- And then (there will be) soup with a cat.

🔻This is a colloquial, ironic answer to the question 'and then (after that)?'; an irrelevant answer to the question of what happened or will happen next.

🔻This expression implies that what will happen next is unknown and serves to stop numerous/annoying questions about it.

Origin:
Some sources say that the expression 'Суп с котом' does not mean a hot dish at all, but comes from the Latin (or Greek) expression “Sup scato”, which literally means 'Bad' but sounds similar to 'Суп с котом'.

👋Приветик всем!

Батониться (imperfective)
  [ba-to-ni-tsa]
SLT: To lie around in bed, rest,
do absolutely nothing
  To veg out, vegetate

🔻'Батониться' comes from the muscular noun 'батон' (a loaf of white bread) which usually does nothing but lies on the table.

🔻It is similar to English verb 'to loaf (around)' = to do nothing, to waste time.

Приду домой и все выходные буду батониться!

Музей Königsberg

🔻This is a contemporary museum with working miniatures and installations to know the history of the city Kaliningrad in 55 minutes.

🔻Königsberg belonged to East Prussia. The history of German East Prussia ended with the Second World War. In October 1944, Soviet troops entered the territory of East Prussia. Fierce fighting continued until the surrender of Königsberg on April 9, 1945.

🔻As a result, a third of East Prussia ended up in the possession of the USSR. The decision was made at the Potsdam Conference. On April 7, 1946, these lands were given the status of the Königsberg region, which on July 4 of the same year was renamed Kaliningrad.

Also:
Компотик (компотики) (diminutive)
  [kam-po-tik (kam-pi-ti-ki)]

🔻In Russia kompot or compot is a non-alcoholic beverage cooked from boiled fruits (typically fresh or dried).

🔻Even before the 18th century, a drink made from fruits and berries was known in Rus', which was called vzvar or uzvar. Vzvar was a festive dish served on Christmas Eve. It was cooked from dried fruits: pears, apples, prunes, plums, raisins.

🔻'Взвар' (vzvar) or 'узвар' (uzvar), came from a Slavic root word meaning 'to boil'.

🔻Компот comes from French compote, which is served as a dessert.

Курочка
  [ku-rach-ka]
  Hen, а diminutive form from
▶️курица.

🔻In 1885, by order of Alexander III, the first Fabergé egg was created.

🔻It was supposed to be a gift for the holiday of Holy Easter for Empress Maria Feodorovna.

🔻The creation of a gift was entrusted to the master of Carl Fabergé's company, Eric Collin.

🔻The base was made of gold coated with a layer of matte white enamel. Inside was a sphere simulating a yolk. It kept a golden hen.

🔻Besides, there was a surprise inside: a miniature copy of the imperial crown, decorated with diamonds, and a ruby pendant. Both are now considered lost.

🔻The Empress was so fascinated by the gift that Emperor Alexander III made it a tradition.

🔻The tradition was adopted by Nicholas II, who every spring gave two eggs - to his mother Maria Feodorovna and his wife Alexandra Feodorovna.

🔻In total, 51 eggs were created for the House of Romanov; the 52 was unfinished due to the revolution in Russia.
