🔻Tulip Festival on Elagin Island is held every year.
🔻More than 170 thousand bulbs of 50 different varieties of tulips are planted on the island especially for the festival.
🔻Visitors to the exhibition can also listen to live music. Concerts will take place on the steps of the main entrance of the Elaginoostrovsky Palace and other open areas.

🔻It was Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck who said it first.
🔻However, Bismarck did not come up with the expression himself. He probably relied on the Russian proverb, widely known in the 19th century:

It took (him) a long time to harness, but soon he arrived.
