🔻'The Chinese New Year in Moscow' festival started in Moscow on 9 February.
🔻More than 300 different events have been prepared for guests:
•Tea ceremonies
• Basic calligraphy
• Festive illumination
• Excursions
• Culinary shows
• Master classes on health practices of qigong and daoyin
• Theatrical performances
etc.
🔻The grand opening of the Chinese New Year in Moscow festival took place on Kamergersky Lane, during which festive illumination was lit.
🔻The event was attended by representatives of the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Russia.
🔻The festival will last until February 18.
🔻By order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, 2024 and 2025 have been declared the Years of Culture of Russia and China.

🔻It is a Soviet-era folk-based song and military march composed by Matvey Blanter in 1938, with lyrics in Russian written by the Soviet poet Mikhail Isakovsky.
🔻It gained its fame during World War II as a patriotic song, inspiring people to serve and defend their Motherland. The song is still remembered and sung in Russia.
🔻The song is the source of the nickname of the BM-8, BM-13, and BM-31 "Katyusha" rocket launchers that were used by the Red Army in World War II.

🔻Every year, more than 20 halls of the facility are built with a new design theme. “Snow Village” is the official record holder of Russia, in 2012 it was recognized as “the largest indoor purpose-built snow structure by area - 2014 sq. meters and is listed in the Russian Book of Records.
🔻On the territory of the excursion and tourist center “Snow Village” there is also a warm cafe and a souvenir shop.
