PA Yorkshire braved the rain and visited Hardcastle Crags on Saturday. A dynamic walk along the valley following Hebden Beck, some fascinating conversations were had alongside a delicious chilli provided by an attendee.

These people are so confusing. In one breath, they call the Tories fascists, lump them in with nationalists and act like they’re some sort of underdog fighting against an oppressive system. In the next breath, they believe the Tory narrative about the “evil far right” and they celebrate when our guys get arrested for criticising the government’s immigration policy.

I saw #ToryDictatorship trending on twitter and just knew it'd be some bullshit. Lefties running around as if the sky's falling because they're planning on making ID required to vote. Complaining about banning peaceful protest as if they haven't been physically assaulting right-wingers who put their head above the parapet for years. Worried about judicial scrutiny as if they'd ever feel the brunt of biased courts.
