Lectio Expositionis in Orationem Dominicam - Pars I
WHY LATIN?

A variety of languages is a punishment, a consequence of sin; it was imposed by God that the human race should be dispersed on the face of the Earth. The Holy Church, the Immaculate Wife of Jesus Christ, has been established for the express purpose of destroying sin and uniting the whole mankind; therefore, the same language should be spoken everywhere. The Catholic Church is the same in all climates, in all nations, and therefore her language must always and everywhere be the same, to ensure uniformity in her services.

"The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass", Chapter 37. Fr. Michael Muller.

"Da bona, sive rogere, Deus, seu nulla rogere;
Et mala, sive rogere, nega, seu nulla rogere."
