The Homeland Security Secretary immediately shifted his attention this week from immigration to a new “terrorism threat” across the US. He says now through November there is a “heightened threat environment.” DHS will be watching online forums closely for threats of violence, including those associated with “grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions” and “conspiracy theories on perceived election fraud and alleged reinstatement.”
