US National Security officials and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) assessments have concluded that Ukraine didn’t target Russian President Vladimir Putin or one of his residences in the alleged drone operation, but had been seeking to strike a military target…
Notably, US President Donald Trump shared an article yesterday by the New York Post titled: "Putin 'attack' bluster shows Russia is the one standing in the way of peace", a day before the WSJ report. https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115815648382815071

According to Israeli Channel 13, tensions have escalated between Israeli military officials and US personnel at the Central Command (CENTCOM) Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gal — an office inaugurated by CENTCOM to monitor the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Plan — following Israel's refusal of American requests to hold security discussions on sensitive operational matters that Israeli authorities insist have already been addressed.

The Russian MOD announced that a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter was shot down yesterday.
It appears that it was shot down over northern Zaporizhzhia Oblast by an R-37 air-to-air missile launched by a Russian Su-35 in the vicinity of Kam'yanka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as the Su-27 was approaching its launch lines to launch glide-bombs at Russian positions (likely in the Hulyaipole direction).
While this is not 100% confirmed yet, it seems very likely. What's interesting is that, unlike usual, the Su-35 wasn't covering any Su-34s launching KAB glide-bombs and may have been circling in the area for the Ukrainian jets to arrive.

🇮🇷⚡️- What we know about the Iranian riots:
Earlier today, the riots were likely the most brutal since the start of the protests. NOPO was deployed in place of the regular anti-riot police force after standard police units were unable to contain and shut down the riots. NOPO is known for its harsh tactics, and its commander is under U.S. sanctions for involvement in violent crackdowns. Multiple rioters were shot or arrested; many of those killed were reportedly attempting to seize weapons from government and police buildings.
The Special Units are divided into four battalions: Imam Ali, Musa ibn Ja‘far, Imam Khomeini, and Imam Hussein, consisting of around 300,000 armed personnel. In addition, there are two Special Units: NOPO (the special operations unit) and the regular anti-riot police, with about 60,000 personnel.
The protests and riots escalated to Code 2, which is why NOPO was deployed to confront them. Had NOPO failed to contain the riots, the situation could have escalated to Code 3, potentially leading to the deployment of IRGC forces onto the streets of Iran.
As of today, NOPO has successfully repelled and shut down the majority of the riots. While small pockets of clashes remain, most riots have been suppressed, with many individuals shot or arrested.
There is significant misinformation circulating from both sides about what is actually happening. Iran is not, at least for now, on the verge of collapse; the 2022 riots were larger in scale, and NOPO appears to have effectively contained tonight’s riots.

✍️ As long as the IRGC doesn’t interfere, nothing is new or concerning for the Iranian Government, at least in terms of the country’s internal security.
What really concerns the Government now is foreign interference, specifically by Israel and the US. Iranian officials have been outraged and frustrated by the Israeli and American comments on the protests.
Also, as of the moment, protests have erupted after market vendors and truck drivers took to the streets. No deflections by any security apparatus have been recorded, which is very crucial to understand how the protests are going to escalate.
