The US Department of War released this night unclassified footage of a cruise-missile destroyer launching a BGM-109 Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile against Islamic State (ISIS) positions in northwestern Nigeria in coordination with the Nigerian authorities, in response to the massacres carried out by ISIS against the Christians in the country.

The strike was seemingly carried out by the Arleigh Burke-class USS Paul Ignatius (DDG-117) guided-missile destroyer with the US Navy.
