🇺🇸🇶🇦 A US Air Force WC-135R “Constant Phoenix” nuclear-sniffing aircraft (reg. 64-14829, callsign COBRA45) arrived yesterday at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar after departing from RAF Mildenhall in the UK.
🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russian Army is reportedly expanding its presence near the frontline and turning civilian infrastructure into military bases, including the Donetsk International Airport, which most of it was turned into storage depots for Shahed-136/238 UCAVs, launchpads and decoy positions, according to newly released satellite imagery captured by Planet Labs.
🇺🇦 Additional details have been released about Ukraine’s new domestically-produced long-range cruise missile, dubbed the FP-5 “Flamingo” which is manufactured by Fire Point.

According to an interview with Chief Technical Officer Iryna Terekh, the “Flamingo” has entered serial production with the current capacity to produce one missile per day, with hopes to build roughly seven-per-day by October and enter mass production by January.

The CTO of Fire Point also confirmed earlier reports that the missile has a maximum range of 3,000km with a 1,150kg warhead, much bigger than most average cruise missiles and easily able to strike a majority of air and other military bases throughout Russia.

🇮🇶🏴 In a rare incident, ISIS killed a National Security Service “spy” in South-West Mosul, Iraq, in the so-called “Wilayat Nineveh/Nineveh State,” seemingly armed with a rare Russia-made ORSIS T-5000M sniper rifle (mostly captured from a Counter-Terrorism Sevice operative) and US-made M16A2/M16A4 assault rifles, per War Noir.
🇺🇸🇮🇶 According to Iraqi sources, US forces have begun withdrawing from Ain al-Assad Air Base in Anbar Province, western Iraq, relocating personnel to al-Harir military base in Erbil, northern Iraq. Heavy equipment is reportedly being flown to Kuwait as part of the redeployment.

The sources add that the withdrawal will be completed by the end of September, leaving no American troops at Ain al-Assad, a base that has repeatedly come under attack by Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces.
🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇳 The US Air Force WC-135R “Constant Phoenix” nuclear-sniffing aircraft carried out a flight near the Bay of Bengal over international waters off Pakistan as India test-fired its Agni-5 IRBM (intermediate-range ballistic missile).

The test follows last month’s launches of nuclear-capable SRBMs (short-range ballistic missiles) Prithvi-II and Agni-I, with ranges of about 350 km and 700–900 km respectively.

The aircraft also conducted a separate mission in the Gulf along Iran’s southwestern coast, departing Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar with callsign FLIPR74, after arriving in the Middle East from RAF Mildenhall in the UK this week.

Following these flights, the WC-135R returned to Mildenhall.

🇮🇷- Iran has closed its airspace in Khuzestan, southwest Iran, and surrounding area for military exercises. Which would likely explain the cancellation of flights between Iraq-Iran.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 CBS News reports that US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard issued a July 20 memo directing the American intelligence community to withhold all information on Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations from allied partners, including the Five Eyes (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).

The directive classified such intelligence as No Foreign Dissemination (NOFORN), allowing only publicly released information to be shared, and restricted distribution to the originating agencies. The memo doesn’t limit sharing of diplomatic information from other sources or unrelated military operational data.

🇺🇦 Footage published by POLITICO shows the launch of Ukraine’s “Flamingo” FP-5 cruise missile, which was developed, tested, and put into production in just nine months by Fire Point, with a manufacturing pace of roughly one missile per day.

According to multiple reports, its engine appears to be adapted either from the Czech L-39 jet trainer or the British “Hawk” trainer aircraft, though this has not been confirmed.

Photos published by AP suggest the missile may be fitted with either a 2,000-pound Mk 84 high-explosive bomb or a BLU-109/B bunker-buster warhead. However, neither the exact engine configuration nor the warhead type has been officially confirmed.
🇷🇺 Satellite images from Sentinel-2 show that Russia has been seemingly constructing multiple listening stations, or Circularly Disposed Antenna Arrays (CDAAs), in the Kaliningrad region along the Baltic Sea near Poland and Lithuania since March 2023.

The sites, located south of Chernyakhovsky Airbase operated by the Russian Navy’s (VMF) Baltic Fleet, are possibly intended for intercepting NATO radio communications, triangulating positions, and maintaining contact with submarines in the Baltic Sea and North Atlantic.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 The administration of US President Trump has approved sending 3,350 Extended Range Active Munitions (ERAMs) to Ukraine, the Wall Street Journal reports. The $850 million package, which also includes “other items,” will be funded mostly by European allies.

The missiles are expected to reach Ukrainian forces within six weeks but will still need Pentagon authorization before use, which according to WSJ, has been quietly blocking Ukraine from using US-made long-range Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to strike deep inside Russia.
