The Great Wolf
A hero; driven nearly mad by his curiosity traveled across the land crossing places both barren and desolate in search of the dark god who consumes all before him.
He just had to know! Tirelessly he scoured all of the place’s men fear to tread until finally one day he discovered where the target of his desire did reside. Deep in a forest of ancient pines and oaks and elm and trees of all kinds, in a clearing upon which shone the moon full and cold full with the promise of death...
Driven by his need to know he boldly strode into the clearing, his quarry scenting him lifted his head tilting it curiously to the side as the man in a very excited tone exclaimed "WHO'S A GOOD BOY!" at which The Great Wolf leapt excitedly to his feet shaking so hard his entire body wiggled like a snake with new legs as his tail wagged with an uncoordinated life of its own.

Walpurgis Hall & The Hexenplatz
Walpurgis Hall is a Hall built on the Hexenplatz Witches Dance Floor an old Saxon Cult site in the Harz Mountains of Germany. It was built in the old Germanic style by Bernhard Sehring with designs by Hermann Hendrich in 1901.
The exterior features a bust of Odin on the front, while the interior features Hendrich's murals of the Walpurgisnacht scene from Faust, wherein Faust takes a journey after casting out his spirit to the Witches Sabbath at the Brocken Another Saxon Cult site this scene features numerous elements of European myth and references to figures of both European and medieval Church myth such as Baubo, Lillith, and Mammon.
It is currently a museum and open to the public.-TLK

What is this insignia and what is the Attendant Company is this a joke?
No this is not a joke.
Attendant Companies are very old extending into prehistory and has had many names over the eons. The most common was known as Camp Followers who despite the common perception were not prostitutes or traveling brothels.
Instead they are the support units providing much needed equipment and repairs for the fighting body made up of Blacksmiths, Cooks, Medical and Surgical personnel, Tailors, individuals of all crafts and skills required to make an army function. The logistics arm of the fighting body.
So in recognition of our new and growing body of supporters we have designed an insignia in honor of these traditional unit insignias featuring Black Smith tongs and hammer accompanied by a flame. Additionally we included the versatile craftsman tool of the knife and the Sol symbol of the Hyperborean people since the age of legends upon a field of blood and bound by our iron will.

The May Queen
One of the most well known celebrations of Spring is the crowning of the May Queen to rule over the Merrie Month of May. This tradition like many are a blending and continuation of numerous pagan customs. With the May Queen serving as Godhead of a Fertility Goddess; elected by the people, the girl or young woman with the most lovable disposition. She is then paraded through the town garlanded in flowers and a beautiful White Dress.
In terms of Celtic Origins one can see the rising of Bride the Summer Queen over Beira the Winter Queen, while in Germania she is Eostre. Over time the May Queen has been represented by many figures, including Maid Marian, Queen Guinevere, The Queen of Fae, among others. The Church made her The Virgin Mary or Romanized her as Flora trying to appropriate the tradition.

The King of Faerie Robin Goodfellow often called Puck is associated intimately with May Day, with it being a sacred day to him and his favored people Chimney Sweeps. Over time his role fell to Robin Hood AKA Robin Wode, who served as godhead for both Robin Goodfellow and the Corn Giant Wode opposite Maid Marion.
The May King and Queen's divine union is so old that no one can say wherefrom it originated, though the May King is often tied to a Wild God reminiscent of horned gods and the Green Man/Jack in the Green.
