Saint Walpurga Goddess of Grain

Saint Walpurga is the Niece of Saint Boniface, credited with converting the Germans however, this is not true as she is actually a German deity and a White Lady. The Church in it's eternal laziness not even bothering to change her name nor her symbolism, with many of her early depictions leaving the symbolism of stalks of grain, representing a Grain Goddess.
Her holy day of Walpurgisnacht or May Eve is the moment before Summer enters its full glory & is a day of Witches & the Wild Hunt. Though Walpurga is not leading the hunt but pursued by it. She carries the potential for summer within her often asking for the aid of the farmers who allow her to hide in their grain stores or fields. after the hunt passes the shoots of Oats, rye, etc grow & she leaves behind golden grain as a Thank You.

She is tied to Wind Hounds, Corn Demons, and Wood Wives, often she is symbolized with a corn dolly, three pointed mirror, spindle and stalks of grain. -TLK

A little sneak peak for those who have been following us for the long haul and those who just came aboard from our upcoming book God of the day.
Rhiannon

The Great Queen, Queen of the Night is a Welsh goddess who is featured in the epic The Mabinogion where Rhiannon shows herself to be a regal, cunning, and powerful figure, as well as a goddess of the Otherworld and death. She possesses birds that can wake the dead or put the living to sleep as well as a horse that can travel between realms.

In the Welsh epic: Appearing to King Pwyll in a dream as a golden goddess with intentions to marry him; though this is partly to avoid her marriage to Gwawl who had previously tricked her into engagement.
Rhiannon later traveled to The Mortal Realm upon her white horse surrounded by flocks of birds. When Pwyll finally came upon her, in his excitement tried chasing her down but she remained consistently ahead of him despite never seeming to increase her gait. Only when he calls out to...

Children get more from one day in the forest than a lifetime in a church.

They do not need indoctrination, but creative and spiritual freedom.
The wild is our sanctuary, where we have communion with our gods and healing of the soul is found there.

PERUN STATUE

For Slavs, Perun was a God that invoked many statues honoring his name. In fact, idols made of oak trees or stone were quite common in pre-Christian Slavic culture in the image of Perun. The oak seems to have been the most prominent form in which images of Perun were carved. In fact, many Slav villages would carve an image of Perun into the most prominent oak tree that was nearby where festivals were often held.

The Bear & The Maiden Fair

One of the oldest and most widespread elements of Hyperborean faith is the Bear cult. While this can often be traced to a bear mother progenitor there is also a male Bear god, sometimes depicted as a Hairy Wildman.
Found in Fairy Tales, Legends, Myths, and even Wilder Mann customs, the marriage of the Maiden Fertility goddess and the Bear is seen across our lands. The Bear Tsar in Slavia is often seen trying to find a young bride, in the tales of White Bear King Valemon & Snow White and Rose Red where Earth's fertility is connected to the marriage of the Bear and the Maiden Fair. In both the entrance to the Otherworld or the Underworld is implied much as when a bear will go hibernate only to emerge when life returns.

Through these ancient times to modern day this connection echoes, until recently the belief bears would kidnap women and sire Half Bear Supermen was widespread, while women were believed to be drawn to the most bearlike of men.-TLK
