Even the accent many Midwestern Germans speak with is the result of centuries of isolated German Dialects speaking English, if you speak with a Midwest Accent you are more than likely speaking with an American German accent. The stork delivering babies descends from the stork spirits delivering infant souls of our own beloved Goddess Holle, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow Fame finds his origin in the Hessian German Mercenaries and the lore of the Wild Hunt from Germania, Santa Claus the Jolly Old Elf descends from German Folklore of Kobolds, Saints and Wildmen and his original home was even an Enchanted German Castle, architecture, music, cuisine. Even the way we dress while warped by modernity and circumstance is a continuation of our German Heritage maybe not as blatant as it would be cocooned in the old Country but present all the same.
You are part of the unbroken line of German Heritage that Stemmed Off onto this new land, but you are no less German of Blood and Bone for it. (4/4)

Hey everyone, 😁
Huzzah! It is done. The trickster fox from French, Flemish/Flanders & English folklore, Reynard the Fox. Truth be told I didn’t quite finish the speed run; I painted for about 10 hours straight throughout the night until my bed beckoned me to sleep, lol! I also took off yesterday from painting, thus I finished it today. There are still a few issues here and there but I’ll tend to them later. Enjoy!
You can view the painting process here.

Have You Seen the Will'O'The-Wisp?
Ever wondered why you marveled at the Patronus Charm?
It is because it is a call back to an ancient mysterious spirit of the Hyperborean People, the tiny balls of guiding Faerie Light known as The Will'O'the-Wisp.
Appearing as tiny balls of shimmering light that seem to dance across the land; they are not to be called or summoned, they come of their own free will. Though to communicate they may take a fitting form to guide you; a beautiful woman, a horrid hag, a curious fox or fluttering sparrow. Each formed of their shimmering light
But they will guide you, to those who are most wicked they will lead to their doom. To those of noble heart they will lead them to what they need most. A place of safety. A place of revelry. A place of magical treasure and adventure.
They like their kindred Fae from the smallest of spirits to the grandness of Puck will fight for those they care about.-TLK
