signs of intelligence (biased edition):
- saying smth as short as possible and as simple as possible
- changing your mind when presented with new data
- admitting when you don't know something
- making complex things sound simple (not simple things sound…

extreme takes here, its the way to generate virality tho
regardless, there are some good lessons here
take what resonates, leave what doesn't

The Diary Of A CEO by Steven Bartlett
Recommendation from a colleague. Steven kept to his promise of it not being a long winded book. Easy read. Finally read his book after listening to his podcasts for a while.
main takeaways:
- if you want someone to be receptive, never start your response with a disagreement.
- questions prompt a psychological reaction that is different from statements. questions are a better form of call to action.
- to overcome a habit, do not fight against it. replace it with a positive loop instead.
- small wins are compact, tangible, upbeat, and non controversial. don’t underestimate the power of small wins.
fav quotes:
4.5/5 good pick up

There is no greater form of gratitude than taking care of yourself.
It’s nearly always cheaper, easier and more effective to invest in perception than reality.

one of the wonders of the human mind (or maybe even the world) is the split second when one draws inspiration out of the blue from everyday life
it has already struck me twice this year through 1) an interview video, 2) a book
which led to certain breakthroughs in thought processes
i feel compelled to write a beautiful descriptive paragraph of how it felt during the strokes of eureka, but my linguistic ability does not allow me to do so yet
chatgpt would kind of defeat the purpose of it as well
i believe everyone has had that moment before too
reminds me of a quote i read a long time ago which holds so true
somehow, we are all suspended in language
