3h is almost my entire daily screen time
also good to note that i was overseas last week, so time was mostly spent absorbing nature/surroundings
my normal screen time is about ~4h judging from the week before i went on vacation
will be spending more time on screens once i start working, so will have to be more mindful moving forward

Same is happening in music. Melodies are getting measurably less complex and more homogeneous. Everything is converging to what is measurably most popular.

1. rising incel and anime culture
2. number 1 e-book store in japan is created by AI
3. more digestible format for youngins that have short attention span killed by SNS
4. ai will only improve from here, making anime news more palatable
judging from whats already possible now, can't imagine how much better it'll be months down the road

- What AI is really doing is decentralising how traditional media is written, packaged, presented, driven by how users consume media today.
- More importantly, AI has been changing the way we learn, which is why anime-fying news is just another itieration of it.
- Other examples: @learning.with.lyrics on Tiktok, PDF to Brainrot AI (https://pdftobrainrot.org), Celebrity deepfakes teaching math (https://www.freethink.com/robots-ai/meet-the-ai-celebrities-teaching-kids-math-and-physics)
- Interestingly from an opportunity POV, we know that culture is an effective export (e.g. Hallyu wave success from Korea) but Japan failed to fully take advantage and now it's facing cultural democratization enabled by AI (e.g. the whole Ghibli-fication trend last year). Another convo to be had is how far will AI dilute culture and its representation in media?
