I think I’ve mentioned this before: not too long ago, the Russian military’s failure to modernize has now finally led them to “demodernize” their standard issue rifle back to the AK74, because the AK12 didn’t perform well in Ukraine. This is a much bigger deal than people realize, and its just one example out of many showing how the Russian government really doesn’t care much about the Russians they’re sending off to war. It’s certainly something to be concerned about if you’re genuinely pro-Russian rather than just pro-Putin.

An extended family member of mine became a drug addict after being prescribed an opioid pain medication after she had surgery for a severe back injury. Prescription pain medication of the opioid variety leading to addiction and harder drug use seems to be the usual story for most drug addicts in America. There’s nothing natural about it: people aren’t simply choosing to be drug addicts, It’s being imposed on them by the medical system. If you’re ever prescribed an opioid, be very careful.
