On December 1, 2013, 11 years ago, after the violent dispersal of the protest, real revolutionary actions began. That day gave an opportunity to really enter into battle with the regime of that time, not for "European values", not for foreign power, but for every offended Ukrainian. Then the peaceful protest actions of liberals turned into a strong revolutionary movement of radicals.

Then, as now, the voice of the nation was a radical and nationalist passionate youth. They were called "provocateurs" and "extremists" for their desire to act not with songs and dances, but with force. Then a fire lit up in their hearts. The same fire that gave strength to our ancestors in the campaign to Tsargorod. The same fire that burned the Khazar Khaganate. The same fire that fueled the Cossacks' thirst for freedom.

It was an evil youth, a violent youth that opposed any agreements with the authorities. Fearing neither detention, nor pain, nor death, it was the "provocateurs" who were in the front rows on Bankova, Hrushevskyi, Shovkovychnaya, and Instytutskaya. It was they who defended the interests of the Ukrainian nation by force. This was the real driving force of the Revolution!
