Then-defence minister Harjit Sajjan instructed Canadian special forces to rescue about 225 Afghan Sikhs after the Taliban takeover in August, 2021, in an operation that three military sources say took resources away from getting Canadian citizens and Afghans linked to Canada on final evacuation flights out of Kabul.

Mr. Sajjan also relayed location information and other details about the Sikhs to the military as special operation forces worked to meet up with the group. The information was passed to him from a Canadian Sikh group that was in contact with these Afghan Sikhs.

The way it was presented to us at first was: If we can do this and pay attention to it, great, but not stopping doing everything else. But a day or so later, it came back to us as a firm order. Our leadership was furious. They were very upset.

I'm no fan of Trump and JD Vance, but the Democrats are just weird.

It really seems like the pro-Russian-zigger channels on Telegram are simping real hard for the Venezuelan-communist dictator Maduro right now. There was a rigged election in Venezuela a couple days ago where Maduro declared himself the winner — from what I've read, sham elections have been a problem in Venezuela for a while, ever since communists have been in power.

I really don't know much about Venezuela, nor do I care to know much, but it just goes to show how far the communist tentacles have spread: because we see zigger channels, from all across the West, all defending a violent communist dictator in South America.

It's as if the real "one struggle" is just worldwide communism, with communists simping for communists.

To the people that still insist that banning guns (or more gun control) is the correct approach to curtailing mass shootings, it follows that banning knives (or more stringent knife control) is the only solution to curtail mass stabbings. The people that subscribe to gun control as a viable solution have no right to tell us that the latter (banning knives) is somehow more ridiculous, because they should be forced to follow their crappy logic to its absurd end anytime a group of people is harmed/killed by any tool or implement.

Also, it’s almost such a given that the attacker was a brown muslim, that it isn’t even worth pointing out on Telegram anymore. Brown people are gonna brown and we all know it, so let’s talk about our gun rights, which is a more productive topic on Telegram.

The notion that gun control is necessary for public safety is an absolute sham of a pretext to take away your god given rights, but that’s how communists operate once they’ve occupied your government. The reason why calling MAGA and Republicans weird is so effective is because Republicans but especially MAGA are very invested in presenting themselves as normal people, as the average American, as the silent majority, even if they are not. This is perfectly incarnated in J. D. Vance who is by every definition of the term an odd duck, but tries desperately to pass himself off as a normal person. Trump, for all his faults, actually embraces his own quirks and weirdness and packages them into a successful brand.
Of course, were MAGA savvy, they’d embrace the weird and run with it. If someone called me weird, I’d agree with them and then proceed to explain in excruciating detail how my eccentricities make me a superior person. It’s just a fact of life that normal people don’t make history. They are to a certain degree fungible, interchangeable with one another and not very interesting.
In fact, this is one of the many reasons I am certain that MAGA will go nowhere. Civilisation doesn’t advance nor indeed save itself through the efforts of the normal, but rather through the work of the exceptional man, the man of vision, the man of exaltation and the man of destiny. Conservatism in general and MAGA in particular is blind to the non-linear effects that exceptional men have on the course of history, which is why they fetishise “the normal.”
They, of course, will never win because they refuse to embrace the weird, the eccentric, the original, out-of-the-box thinker. They’ll run the same old scripts again and again and stare mouths agape as the weirdos find a new way to stay on top. “They changed the game parameters so they could win!” Why, yes, that’s what creative thinking can accomplish, my dear fellow. Why do you think Orange Man won in 2016? Because he broke the mould. Now he’s running the tired old GOP script and he’s losing.
