Science vs Pseudoscience - How scientific principles are carried on ad absurdum.
The fate of the world as we know it is at stake. Pseudoscience is dominating the news. My appeal is based on the appendix of Michael Crichton’s book ‘State of Fear’, which clarifies why politicized science is dangerous. It is more topical than ever. Imagine a new scientific theory that warns of an imminent crisis and points to a way out.
This particular theory quickly draws support from mass media, leading scientists, politicians, and celebrities/influencers worldwide. Research is funded by renowned philanthropists and carried out at prestigious universities and research institutes. The crisis is reported frequently in the media. The global media is a one-size-fits-all mess. Where was their criticism of the biofascism of global governments? Where was the outcry when the political elite confiscated our fundamental rights? They kept their mouths shut and even supported the tyranny. So these journalists have no moral right to judge this woman who calls a spade a spade.

A Twitter user called Peter Sweden keeps on posting the claims that there were an >1000% increase in excess deaths among children 0-14 (16k likes within 6 hours). He also links to his Substack article that makes the same claim without referring to any sources.

Journalism in Crisis - How philanthropic organizations undermine the fourth pillar of democracy.
We should not forget that mainstream media journalists have paved the way for this dystopian and bio-fascist situation. They reported unobjectively and uncritically about Covid and are still doing so. Unfortunately, they will do so about the climate and energy crisis (i.e. "we need climate lockdowns...).

If this is the case then science becomes an easy tool in the hands of wrong-doers.
With ‘Follow The Science’ mantras, they can impose any dogma on people for their own benefit and profit.
This is particularly dangerous when the real scientific process is broken down and no one is allowed to challenge “The Science”. Anyone who dares to do so is bullied and called names to shut them down.

I've been growing tomatoes successfully my whole life. Never one single tomato died of a disease growing them in Europe.
Here in Brazil, I've been trying to grow tomatoes for 1.5 years already. Until now, I planted about 100 tomatoes and didn't achieve to get any fruit.
I now constructed raised beds, and it finally worked. However, within one rainy week, all tomatoes caught a disease and rotted. The soil is mulched; I apply neem oil once a month and removed the leaves close to the soil/mulch.
Has anyone here experienced this before? The fact that it's tough to grow food here drives me insane. Plagues everywhere.
