I am perfectly aware that there was also soviet interventionism and terrorism from the far left, but first of all the only ones that tried to coup were the Americans, well aware of the Golpe Borghese, a failed fascist coup.
Second point, all the most lethal terroristic attacks were from far right groups (Piazza Bologna among them).
Many of the leftist terrorists were jailed, and also the ones that tried to escape in other countries (like Cesare Battisti) were caught, while Stefano Delle Chiaje, for example, was never arrested, notice that he cooperated with the DC government in this case.
In the Paetano Bombings was even used material that only the NATO possessed at the time, and it was used by another far-right terroristic group.
