Hummingbirds can hover, fly backwards and perform tight spins because their wings beat dozens of times per second in a figure-eight pattern, generating lift on both the upstroke and the downstroke. Their chest muscles are among the most metabolically active tissues measured in any vertebrate, and during flight their heart rate can rise to hundreds of beats per minute to meet the extreme energy demand.

What looks like a stunt to us is, from a physics and biology perspective, the outcome of extraordinary fine-tuning between wing geometry, muscle physiology, balance sensing, and visual processing, all compressed into a body small enough to rest in the palm of a hand.

Moments like this remind us that what we call “everyday” nature is often carrying advanced engineering solutions and forms of intelligence we are only beginning to understand.🕊️

Forgive your parents, forgive others, forgive everyone that has hurt you, Let it go! Forgive yourself for all you have done to hurt others when you didn't know better both knowingly and unknowingly and move forward with the healing.

The thing that helped me most when it comes to parents is the realization that all parents are just kids raising kids, be happy that you have a head on your shoulder, find your place, find your calling.
