If you talk to americans about actual Christian teachings they will scoff at you because most of them believe Christianity is explicitly about aesthetics, specifically soft guitar, white robes, do good aesthetics.
They do not understand the nature of slaying demons and being intolerant of evil, or the inherent reverence to death, because for them being Christian is not cursing, going to mass on sundays and being nice to niggers.
This is why so many of them think the spanish processions, or the saint skulls in Italy are satanic. Because for them, you're being edgy, scary, mystic, and that's not christian that's paganism or something.
I'm not even exaggerating btw, I have talked with many of them and they all explicitly mention these things as scary looking, therefore being unable to be Christian.
