some people are accusing me of being an "anti-ai grifter" so let me clarify something: i am not against machine learning, i actually find it incredibly interesting and do run some models locally pretty often to help me out with boring tasks

i simply do not like when it is used for stealing creative work without any consent or attribution, that's pretty much it

i find it cool if a machine can learn with the help of what i make, but i also would like to be paid since i am helping a commercial product get off the ground

the eu is doing some fantastic work on this imo, not perfect but at least they are not just caving in to the megacorps

if you steal my shit using ai or without ai it doesn't change that you are a thief, so you should be treated as such, that is literally everything i am asking for, i have people call me a "radical leftie" in youtube comments just for this, for saying that you should be paid for your work lol

i am not against ai in all forms (i literally used ai to defeat ai as part of my last video), i think that its ethical use is pretty neat, i am extremely fascinated by the tech but doing everything in cloud/not having control over it/burning through dirty energy kinda sucks so it would be cool to have something like this

yes i know solar is not 100% clean and some people are going to say WHY DO YOU CARE but it's more about the fact that i find it fucking cool to generate my own energy that anything else really, idk, the idea that i can power shit FROM THE SUN is cool
