They currently hold 3% of this market, the rest of it being held by different companies from the private sector. They have bought new vehicles and are building new sorting hubs to help them achieve this goal and are also preparing for a reorganisation to make it a more efficient system. They also wish to raise the number of "easybox" pick-up points in Romania from 5K to 20K. Despite holding only 3% of the market, they are still to this day a very used service by the people, being the only postal and courier service to deliver anywhere in the country, and the primary postal service. The Romanian Post is one of the big state-owned players in the economy.
