🟡 | Highlights from the speech of Hezbollah Secretary-General Shaykh Naim Qassim on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A) in Baalbek: • I salute these Husayni crowds who came from all the villages and from the Baalbek-Hermel area to commemorate…
+

—Shaykh Naim's Ongoing speech:

• We must ask those who did not resist: Where were you in the face of aggression, occupation, and sovereignty? The resistance is a shining light and a sun that shines on everyone.

• The state’s acceptance of a ceasefire agreement was aided by the resistance, which adhered to its terms. After eight months of patience, despite being targeted as resistors and the resistance’s environment, we believed that this stage required patience.

• A survey by the Consultative Center shows that Lebanese people do not believe the army alone can protect Lebanon, and diplomacy alone is not enough.

• The majority of Lebanese public opinion supports the resistance and its continuity.

• A government decision to disarm the resistance strips the resistance, its people, and Lebanon of defensive weapons during aggression, which means facilitating the killing of fighters and their families and expelling them from their land and homes. The government should have focused on asserting its control and expelling Israel from Lebanon.

• The government is serving the “Israeli” project.

Is the government happy with Netanyahu’s praise for its decision?

• The wrongful decision is the government’s acceptance of facilitating the killing of their partners in the nation so they can enjoy a life they were promised.

You are not trying to protect Lebanon, but to protect your own lives at the expense of your partners in the country.

Can the nation be stable when one group attacks another?

• If you feel incapable, leave the enemy to face us, and just as “Israel’s” repeated wars failed, this one will also fail.

• The government’s duty is to build the country, not hand it over to the “Israeli” and American enemy.

—Shaykh Naim's Ongoing speech:

O holders of sovereignty and exclusive arms, have you not seen the Israeli Chief of Staff on our land congratulating his soldiers for this occupation and promising them more, while Netanyahu talks of “Greater Israel”?

Some Arab states support “Israel” in targeting the resistance and its fighters.

• The government has made a very dangerous decision that violates the national charter and destroys national security.

Do not drag the army into this path, its national record is clean.

Stripping the government of legitimacy with this decision is invalid, while the resistance draws legitimacy from blood and liberation, not from you.

Hezbollah and the Amal Movement decided to delay taking to the streets and protesting, giving space for discussion and amendments.

The resistance will not hand over its weapons, the aggression continues, the occupation remains, and we will fight a Karbala-style battle if necessary against this Israeli-American project, and we are confident of victory in this battle.

Let us be together in building the country, for the country cannot be built by one component without the other. This is our homeland together, we live with dignity together, and we build together, or there will be no life for Lebanon if you stand on the other side. Either we live together, or there is peace to the world.

Either Lebanon remains and we remain together, or there is peace to the world, and you bear the responsibility.

🏴 | Deep condolences on this day of Arbaeen, observed by believers across half of the world today. We remember the painful memories of the martyrs Imam Husayn (A), his companions, his sisters, and his children, which continue to move the hearts of the ummah. Today, their pain is also shared with the thousands of martyrs of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iran.

May Allah accept our prayers, protect us, and strengthen our hearts to endure more, give more, and serve the cause.

🇮🇳 | In India, a tragic incident has occurred in Maharashtra: 21-year-old Muslim student Suleman Rahim Khan was brutally beaten to death by Hindutva goons, and his body dumped outside his home. His parents and sister were attacked while trying to save him. This comes at a time when the nation is celebrating its 79th day of independence, a clear reminder that freedom and justice remain fragile for Muslims there.

📕 | Karbala: The Forgotten Path and the Divided Ummah:

Muslims became divided over the approach to commemorating Karbala. One group abandoned active commemoration, reducing it to a theoretical understanding calling it philosophical and symbolic meant only for those willing to sacrifice for Islam.

The other group embraced commemoration with yearly gatherings and collective remembrance. This approach fueled the Islamic Revolution in Iran, nurtured resistance sentiments, and led to the formation of movements and organizations such as the IRGC, Basij, Amal, Hezbollah, AnsarAllah, Hashd al-Shaabi — Harakat al-Nujaba, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Kata’ib Hezbollah, and many others.

When the time came and Islam needed a second Karbala-led movement, these forces rushed to defend their brothers in Gaza and confront the empire of Modern day-Yazid: israel. Meanwhile, those who had reduced Karbala to a stagnant chapter in books, limiting it to mere supplications or discussions, unfortunately whether intentionally or unintentionally fell to their knees BUT also lost their backbone.

Today, many Arab nations have no language of anger left to express against israel, whose tyrannical leaders openly call for occupying their land. The solution is to return to Karbala. What some label as shirk is, in fact, their salvation, and the real shirk is fearing America and israel and accepting their demands.

Normalization is the true bid‘ah, not mourning.

Karbala is not shirk—israel is.

These are groups, not sects, because for a group among Shias (~Shirazi cult), Karbala should not be political, and for many Sunni (~see Palestinian leaders like Nizar Banat, Abu Hamza and Yahya Sinwaar), Karbala should be a political and commemorative movement.

🇮🇶 | Statement of Secretary-General of Kataib Hezbollah: Hajj Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi (H):

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our leader and Prophet, Muhammad the Trustworthy, his pure and immaculate Household, may Allah be pleased with his chosen and noble Companions, and with His righteous servants, martyrs, and mujahideen.

Despite the scorching heat of summer and the blazing sun, the supporters and lovers of Imam al-Husayn (A) did not hesitate to serve his millions of visitors, who came from all corners of the earth to his pure shrine for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which this year was marked by even greater dignity and magnificence.

On this sorrowful occasion, we extend our condolences to our Imam, al-Hujjah ibn al-Hasan (A), to the Islamic world, and to our esteemed scholars, on the anniversary of the Arbaeen of the Master of Martyrs. We ask the Almighty to extend His help and guidance to us in fulfilling our duties, amid the grave events and major changes our region is witnessing.

The recent developments, the fall of the Syrian regime at the hands of criminal takfiri gangs led by Julani, the American-Zionist aggression against the Yemeni people, the treacherous Zionist-American war on the Islamic Republic, and the systematic international pressure orchestrated by Zionist and Masonic institutions are nothing but attempts to subjugate nations and strip them of their will, especially after voices have grown louder calling for the disarmament of the people under false pretexts, from which neither Iraq nor Lebanon have been spared.

We affirm that resisting occupiers and deterring aggressors is a legitimate right guaranteed by laws and divine legislation. The weapon of the people has always been, and will remain, their safety valve and their protective shield in defending honor, sanctities, and land. From this standpoint comes the necessity of supporting the arsenal of the resistance with advanced weapons, strengthening its technical capabilities, and raising its defensive and offensive capacities to the highest level of readiness and preparedness to confront any threat to the country and the people.

Supporting the oppressed and defending the causes of the Ummah — foremost among them the Palestinian cause — has always been, and will remain, our central cause. We are always ready to make more sacrifices to purify our sanctities from the defilement of the impure Zionists.

We in Kataib Hezbollah affirm that one of our top priorities is to repel the evil of the wicked and to thwart their schemes against our people, our religious authorities, and our eminent scholars, who are beacons of guidance, lamps of light, and those whom Allah has made the continuation of the legacy of prophethood. This obliges the believers to draw from the light of their counsels and to be guided by their path in supporting the oppressed and striving against the disbelievers.

In conclusion, I extend my highest thanks and appreciation to the administration of the two holy shrines in Karbala, to its honorable people, to the esteemed Provincial Council, to the security forces, and to the mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization and the Islamic Resistance, who ensured the security and service of the visitors, as well as to the heads of the processions and their noble servants. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant them more success in giving, and to record for them a great reward for the effort they have exerted in serving the guests of Abu Abdullah al-Husayn (A).

| Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (A) accepted a treaty with Muawiyah under certain conditions, which Muawiyah never fulfilled. However, the treaty did not include disarmament, and the sword always remained in the hands of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (A).

The Shia front has no precedent for disarmament in its history, so one thing is certain never disarm, and fight until death, whether this side survives or that side survives.

🗞️ | Khaleel Nasrallah writes:

The faction that approved the “weapons” clause and the American “Barak” paper is indifferent to the consequences of what it has done. It is ready to see Lebanon ruined in order to please the foreign guardian.

A country cannot be built with forces that are subordinate to the outside and act according to what is dictated to them. There is a government whose main components have taken it upon themselves to destroy Lebanon after placing the interests of “israel” above those of Lebanon by making two unconstitutional decisions.

They knew that Hezbollah would never surrender its weapons regardless of the consequences, yet they submitted to the will of Barak and Bin Farhan. Accordingly, they alone bear whatever consequences arise.

They have moved the confrontation inside Lebanon to fulfill an American desire and under Saudi prompting, using Hezbollah’s weapons as the gateway. Now, with Hezbollah’s stance made clear, they have begun shouting to place the blame for the consequences on the party. They acted irresponsibly with their unconstitutional decisions and gambled on Hezbollah’s wisdom. But wisdom does not mean retreat or surrender. Hezbollah has made its choice clear: any attempt to infringe upon the weapons that safeguard Lebanon and prevent its occupation will be met with the necessary response.

| Since the arrival of Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in Beirut from Baghdad, attention has focused on his full-day activities, which included visits to official headquarters, the Iranian embassy, and a meeting with Hezbollah Secretary-General Shaykh Naim Qassim.

Sources indicate that Riyadh and Washington mobilized to gather intelligence, focusing on what Larijani said, the messages he conveyed, and the positions he communicated to Lebanese officials, particularly Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, as well as what occurred during his session with various Lebanese political figures.

Saudi officials and the American embassy team in Beirut reportedly contacted politicians, advisors, and media figures to collect all available information, with particular attention to Hezbollah. Among the questions being investigated: Did Dr. Larijani bring financial support? Did he request anything from Hezbollah or from Berri regarding dealings with the Lebanese government and army?

☑️ | During the visit of Dr. Ali Larijani (H) to Lebanon, one notable incident was a reporter asking about the so-called Iranian interference in Lebanese affairs. Dr. Larijani responded with confidence and professionalism; a level of composure quite rare today, evident even in his body language.

He retorted gleefully, "'I say to the Lebanese government; recognize who is your friend and who is your enemy. Iran has always been friendly with Lebanon, when Lebanon feels pain we also feel this pain. And we continue to be ready to provide any help whenever it is requested.

Iran is not interfering in Lebanon's internal affairs. The one who interferes in Lebanon's affairs are those who sit in Washington over 1,000 kilometers away and give orders to the Lebanese government from afar."

• The Secretary-General of Hezbollah’s remarks carry an implicit threat of civil war.

• No one in Lebanon today desires civil war; such threats are completely rejected.

• Claims that the Lebanese government is executing an American-Israeli project are false.

• No party in Lebanon is authorized to bear arms outside the state framework.

• There has been no request to hand Hezbollah’s weapons to Israel; any disarmament discussions involve the Lebanese army, whose patriotism is unquestioned.

🟡 | Hezbollah MP: Ministers like the Minister of Justice are a danger to Lebanon:

Member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Hassan Ezz El-Din, warned on Friday that the greatest threat to civil peace and national consensus is having a government that includes figures such as Minister of Justice Adel Nassar, who, according to Ezz El-Din, make “illegitimate and unconstitutional decisions” that undermine coexistence and compromise national security. He stressed that such ministers should one day be held accountable for violating the constitution.

His comments came after Minister Nassar told Al-Hadath channel that Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassim's statements contradicted the party’s endorsement of the ministerial statement. Nassar criticized Shaykh Naim Qassim's remarks about “stopping life in Lebanon” as unacceptable, arguing that Lebanon’s priority is building a full-functioning state.

The Minister said Hezbollah agreed to the 2024 agreement with Israel but is instead pursuing a “Karbala project” against its citizens. He expressed confidence that the party would eventually support limiting weapons to the state, saying state-building cannot be achieved through one faction overpowering another.

Nassar argued Hezbollah’s weapons have not stopped Israeli attacks since 2000 but have instead provoked them, and he urged the group to end what he described as risky adventures and contribute to building the state. He stressed that monopolizing weapons in the hands of the state is irreversible and not aimed at any single Lebanese community, adding that any threat to the Lebanese army is a threat to civil peace.
